This is the first time I booked this hotel. After reading the reviews, I thought it should be pretty good.Facilities: Japanese hotels really have everything, from toiletries to combs, bath salts, coffee, hair ties, disposable knives, forks, chopsticks, etc., they are all very convenient. Dear friends, please note that there are no cotton swabs. You can bring your own if needed.Hygiene: It is very clean and tidy with no dead ends, and it is cleaned every day. There is a refrigerator, the table is a bit small, and the windows cannot be opened. The view is not badEnvironment: I thought Funabashi would be a bit desolate at first, but I didn’t expect it to be quite lively. It’s next to Ito-Yokado and Tobu Department Store, etc., which is very convenient.Service: The service attitude at the front desk is very good. They all say hello. When checking in, the online system is automatic. I didn’t see the remote lady on the screen at first. Haha, it’s...
Read moreLocation is excellent. Rooms are nice. But more than anything, I just can't forget how rude the staff were. It really bothered me how uncomfortable one staff member made us feel. One of our group was not staying at the hotel, but was present at check-in. We were having a conversation near the elevators about meeting up later. The staff member rushed over to us and created a barrier with her hands to separate us so that the person not staying wouldn't go any closer to the elevators. She then pushed the elevator button, encouraging us to go our seperate ways, and stood right next to us while we were trying to finish our conversation. Very awkward. I understand the rule that someone not staying at the hotel can't go to the rooms. But we were all in the lobby, which is allowed. It just seemed ridiculous and an over the top reaction. Why not just remind us politely if they felt suspicious? For that reason alone, I have no interest in booking this...
Read moreWe knew the below and this was my second time using this hotel, overall ok for a short stay and is convenient location to go out
The hotel entrance is not easy to find, as it is in a shopping mall at the Funabashi station.
The room is quite small, if you had a large luggage it would be hard to leave it open. Even small one opened was blocking the room door
Check in and check out process is done via kiosk machines, while there are 3-4 staffs at the counter behind it you still are not allowed to do manual check in, and someone else comes onto the screen just to say hello…. It is a good idea having it if the facility is unattended, but with many staffs around seen in front of me it was very uncomfortable doing the check in through the machine
the reception floor on Level 6 has a small smoking room and you do not have to go outside of the hotel if you...
