We were looking for a dessert café to unwind for the night and happened to stumble upon エゾリス珈琲 on Google Maps. Since it was within walking distance of our hotel, we decided to drop by—and we’re so glad we did!

We ordered the Royal Milk Tea, nostalgic pudding, and chocolate terrine, and everything was absolutely delicious. The Royal Milk Tea was fragrant with a lovely hint of coconut in the aroma, which made it extra comforting. The nostalgic pudding was rich and creamy, and the chocolate terrine was perfectly decadent. The café itself is super cute and cosy, making it a great place to relax. Firstly, it’s really a lovely cafe with many squirrels decorations, just in front of the tourists information center. But the young owner couldn’t speak English even a word. He kept speaking fast Japanese to me, even after that I told him I could not speak any Japanese, and I think he’s quite rude because he didn’t give me the English menu first and he didn’t offer me the napkins! There is a local Japanese guest asked him to give me the napkins. So, I felt offended and left there. CASH ONLY. You must be kidding me, go adjust the business time on google, no excuse!!! And try learn some english before you place your sign, you were confusing and misleading your customers and you would never give up arguing and blaming your customers, right? What a shame.
