Detail for foreigners: Taking the Limited Lavender Express Train from Sapporo at 9:07am (second train) and reaches 2 hours at Furano Station. It is highly recommended to buy the reserve seats during July peak Seasons and especially the first train at 7+ in the morning.
Important on trains: Once you reach, it is important to reconfirm and check the train to Tomita Farm at Lavender Farm Station. The train frequency is almost an hour apart. After which, you can go for breakfast or lunch like what I did.
I ended with taking a taxi as I missed the train by a few minutes and have to wait at least 1.5 hours. Bad mistake. It will set you back about JPY3500-4000.
Also, this time can be bright shinny and a bit hot. Bring sunglasses. It’s still cooling around late July!
After you are done, again, run for the station. Expect quite a queue but you will manage to get seats of the train.
Google or the station will ask you to take a hike from Naka-Furano. This is good only if you have a pair of fresh legs and good stamina! Otherwise, I recommend Lavender...

our purpose of visiting Furano was looking around antique station and touring Tomita farm where is famous for Lavender flowers field!
oh, the flower season is summer!
in here, there is only line to Farm Tomita!
interesting things is the line's train is old antique one! all passengers can look outside without windows.
so, all can feel the fresh air and flowers smells !!!
at first we got here, we instantly realized that the air is so so very very fresh we never feel before!
and, the station was clean and well organized!
there were mant photo zone for tourists!
i think the main theme of station is warm and antique and traditional station!
it was so comfortable...
