To get to this hotel you get the bus from Furano Station and make sure it goes to Furano Prince Hotel, as announcements will be made along the way where the bus is stopping.| When we arrived it looked interesting but a bit old. We went to reception to check in and we were assisted by a Trainee and they were quite helpful and did everything to assist us. They did not get upset when one of our group wanted to change to the New Prince Hotel and then they changed their mind to stay at the Prince Hotel instead. This staff member states professional all way and they even assisted us with the time of the shuttle bus to the New Prince Hotel. | At one stage we decided to ask the Bell Captain who was also a Trainee about the bus ,one of us asked and they said the shuttle bus to New Prince Hotel was at 6:30pm not 5:45pm. I was a bit surprised and decided to confirm with them the time and the Bell Captain Trainee became annoyed and raised their voice and told us to go to wait for the shuttle bus at the bus stop. We then went over to reception to confirm the time of the shuttle bus and this staff member came over with us to the Bell Captain and they found out that the Bell Captain did mot realise that there was an extra time table for the shuttle bus and they told us the wrong place to wait which should have been at the lobby neat the front.| The Bell Captain Trainee did not have good customer service as they raised their voice and got annoyed because a couple of us asked them the same question. Read moreFascinating and nice atmosphere; it reminded me of the good old times, back in the 70’s and 80’s, when I spent every single winter skiing in norther Italy, with my parents first, and then with my friends. And this is also the first set back, as the rooms are somewhat outdated and need some refurbishment, although there is not a singles speck of dust anywhere as Japanese people are very attentive when it comes to hygiene.||The location is astonishing, just on the sky slopes. All you have to do is just get your skis on and ride them straight out of the lobby!||Try and get some of the packages they offer, including dinner and skipass, as the hotel is somewhat out of the town and chances are that you are not really in the mood to venture out in the cold to eat your meal; if not included, the buffet can be somewhat expensive, in the range of over €40. The buffet itself is good enough but does not vary over the days; as a result, you might end up a little bored with food if you plan to stay for a long vacation.||The skis and the whole equipment can be rented and the service is very attentive and efficient. Do not bother to bring your own stuff unless you really hate Salomon (like I do), as it is the only type of equipment that they feature. I managed to get along with it … by the way. My calf will reprimand me for the next six months but I will survive.||Personnel is really friendly and helpful and although not everyone speaks English they will do their best to communicate as efficiently as possible.||There are no proper areas where you can relax and this is really a pity; the two rooms with he huge glass panes are only for restaurant use and the only other public area is occupied by an always almost empty bar. The lobby only features few benches and sofas but even if you manage to conquer one, your reading will be disturbed by the chilly wind gusts coming from the constantly opening and closing of the main door.||The SPA is dreadful … small and the water if full of chlorine. Necessary, I know, when you have some many people in such a small place but my sensitive skin detected...
