This place is crazy popular. We tried THREE times before we were able to get our hands on some curry. First time we arrived, they were sold out on curry, the second time it was a rest day, and finally, third time’s the charm. We got there 40 mins before opening time, soon after, many other people joined the queue. Parking in front of the shop is limited, however there were car parks available just around the corner or opposite the shop. Expect a long wait during peak time (more than an hour). Rest days are irregular, and you only find out via a written blackboard posted at the door. For the month of july, it appears to be every Tuesday. The wait for food didn’t take too long. We both ordered the chicken curry with Hokkaido veggies, which was delicious. Soup curry is obviously their most popular dish as everyone else had ordered that. Come early to avoid disappointment. Be prepared to queue and wait. They had a simple English menu, accepts cash payment only.

Probably my favorite soup curry in Hokkaido and I’ve had quite a few! Definitely miles better than those super famous ones in Sapporo that have ridiculous lines out the door and endless tourists. This is a famous one in furano too and they even have their own curry in vacuumed prepackaged boxes to go, but even then, the lines aren’t as long and the quality is waaaay better! Ingredients are fresher and the flavor of the soup is richer and deeper. Service is however immensely slow (we got in without having to wait for dinner and yet it took over 30 mins for our food to be served). I’ve noticed this with soup curry places because presumably they cook everything to order. The space is comfortable though so it isn’t too bad to wait. I added the pork slices to mine and they were also really tender and good. Veggies so fresh as well. I’d really like to come back if I’m ever around furano again!

Please come early if you want to try, although the last order is 8.30pm and I arrived about 7pm, they stopped taking customer around 7.45pm. We wait for 1hour20min (waiting, seating and taking orders) before the soup curry was served. The food is cooked individually was you can choose your own spicy ness level, I tried level 5 and it was ok for me. My dad took 7 and was a little spicy. You also can choose the amount of rice you want. I love the Hokkaido vegetables that was in the curry, especially the pumpkin. The chicken leg was tender as well. The pricing was very affordable and it was a good experience. Our soup curry was mostly empty at the end of the dinner.

Nice mix of spices used giving a rich curry flavour. They make each dish to order so can wait up to 15 mins score you get your meal. Can select portion size of rice (up to 300g for no additional charge) and spicy ness level up to 10. Got the hokkaido vegetables (good quality produce used) curry soup (spice level 3) and pork tonkatsu curry (spice level 6). Could’ve opted for more spicy as not quite enough kick. Liked their curry soup more as more unique, refreshing and not as filling as the usual curry sauce. Highly recommended place!

Very average restaurant. Staff was not particularly welcoming. Food is soso.... none of us expect curry soup with rice is any good, but it is disappointing, probably not the fault of the restaurant, its more to do with the dish itself, its just not a particularly good dish..... I dont see the point of it being famous. Trust me, I know food, if you have other options available, you dont need to try curry soup. Its a waste of time.

Good soup curry for a fair price! Had the vegetarian option with level 9 spice. I love spicy food and definitely could have gone for 10 or 11 instead. Very busy, but if you arrive right at 11:30 when they open you’ll be good! Also some people were complaining it was slow, but it literally says on the menu they prepare each dish custom so be ready to wait. I didn’t mind the wait at all, just manage your expectations!
