The Fish — Restaurant in Futtsu

This was our second visit and it was even better than the first time. Everything was delicious. Both times we have visited for dinner the place was nearly empty. I hope they can hang on because it is a wonderful restaurant in a unique location. We could clearly see Mount Fuji silhouetted at sunset. The gift shop is also extensive. Everyone in our family found something to enjoy. This place is highly recommended and worth the trip. There are also several highly rated restaurants in the area which we may try sometime but for now we will keep coming back here because we love it. Bayside dining with a touch of elegance is a fitting description for ‘The Fish’. After a solid hike around Nihonji Temple, a good meal was needed to recharge. Well, the food was tasty. But, when we asked for a package to take out a pizza we bought there, they said, it was forbidden to take any food out, and they didn't provide any box or foil, or anything! How is it possible? We paid almost 2000 yen for a pizza and they wanted us to leave it there, if we haven't eaten it?
