A nice surprise cafe in a characteristic Japanese fishermen's town. The building itself is over 200 years old built in the style of Nagano where it snows heavily. The owner, Mr. Aoyama, a huge coffee aficionado, has created a very nice place where you can enjoy exquisitely brewed exotic coffee. The large collection of coffee machines and paraphernalia makes it easy for people to connect and chit chat over a coffee cup and soon becoming friends as conversations over how to "properly" prepare and enjoy coffee crosses boundaries of countries and cultures. The building was heavily damaged in 2019 by typhoon #15 but it was just reopened after 1.5 years as the owners worked on the repairs on their own.
