Kura Sushi — Restaurant in Gifu

Kura Sushi is a revolving sushi place with ala carte options available too. I ordered several dishes, but the ones that stood out were the seasonal lemon parfait, the seared bonito sashimi with ponzu sauce, and the chicken popcorn (which was honestly tasteless, lol).

The food was okay and about what you’d expect from an affordable sushi chain. There was very little human interaction since everything was automated, and it was very foreigner-friendly with English menu options.

The selection isn’t as wide as other popular sushi chains like Ha** or Su, but the gashapon game makes it unique. They also had souvenir items from their collaboration with the Osaka Expo 2025.
