Food and service was okay. Portions were generally small for their price point.

However, service lacked transparency, leading to some displeasure.

1. even though we paid the cover charge for the izakaya, which stated that water was included, they insisted that we had to order 1 drink per person. Fine. when we asked for water, this was rejected and we were told to order drinks

2. we ordered multiple plates of skewers. Each picture showed (at least) 2 sticks. These pictures are also available on other google reviews. However, we only got 2 skewers in total, and when we asked the staff, they insisted that they had combined our orders, despite both skewers tasting the same. No refund was provided.

3. for non-JP speakers, there was little English so miscommunications / misunderstandings were near impossible to resolve....
