This is such a lovely place to stop and have a slow lunch. It gets busy so either book ahead or be prepared to wait. We both had the chicken, it came with salad, soup, rice/bread. The chicken was amazing, cooked perfectly, crunchy skin, tender inside. The cafe itself is an old converted house, we sat upstairs with the windows overlooking the garden. If you are looking for somewhere quick to grab lunch, this is not eat but if you are looking for somewhere to relax, chat with friends and enjoy excellent food, this...

Lovely cafe in a renovated traditional Japanese house. The food and service were great, and worth the price. The Japanese garden was also beautiful. Had a wonderful time eating the delicious food and admiring the architecture and view. Thank...

閑居（かんきょ）と読むみたいです。 店名最初読めませんでした、、 漢字の下にローマ字で書いて欲しいかも。

古民家（昔の市長さんの家みたいです）の中は昔懐かしい感じの部屋があり掘りごたつ風の席が並んでいました。 雰囲気がよいです。

店員さんのいる場所は客席から見えにくいので呼ぶときちょっと大変です。

注文した プレートは、グラタン、エビフライ、パン、オムライス、サラダが一つになっていてスープも付いているので大人のお子様ランチの感じでした。

ミニサイズのオムライスに十分味があるので上にかかってるケチャップはマイルドだと良かったかも。ちょっとケチャップが濃く感じました。 エビフライはサクサクで尻尾までいただきました。 ミニサイズのグラタン、美味しかったです。

アールグレーの紅茶も美味しかったです。

鶏肉料理を一口いただきましたが 私には、味が薄い感じがしました。

デザートがおいしそうでしたがお腹いっぱいで食べれずに終わりました。 ドリンクを頼むと2000円を越えるのでもう少しお安いとよいなぁ。

お庭の雰囲気も良かったですが 左手にあるツバキ？の葉に沢山の虫食い跡があり、チャドクガかな？と気になりました。 毒針毛は風に乗って飛ぶこともあるので肌荒れを起こします。 薬剤まいた後かもですが、、 店員さん気をつけ...
