Most of the seafood restaurants here are small as so seatings are limited. It's common for people to queue for their food, and yes.....we did queue to go into this restaurant. We have to order our food before we get a table inside. Service was fast and good. No wait for our food, as I was served almost immediately after sitting down. If you love sashimi or raw seafood, this is the place to be. Very fresh and natural sweetness of the sea urchin, prawns, cuttlefish, and scallops. I had them with white rice, some preserved condiments, and soup. Wow. .....one of my best Japanese meal....

This place is a row of donburi establishments housed right across the Hakodate station and marks the start of the Hakodate morning market. They prepare rice bowls here topped with very fresh seafood. Almost always, the rice bowls have some fish roe. You can choose fish, squid, scallops, sea urchin, different types of crabs and more as additional toppings to your rice bowl. The hall has plenty of shop windows where they have plastic replicas of their rice...
