The Japanese do take their breakfast seriously! They literally eat a full lunch meal in the morning. Ikuratei is one of the many fab seafood eateries located in the Hakodate Morning Market main complex. The range of chirashis and grilled/fried dishes are absolutely huge and quality of the seafood is good and fresh.The staff is very friendly as well. Offering English menu (in English of course) the moment they heard us speaking....

Waiting timevabout 10 minutes on Wednesday morning 10am. Serving wuthin 10 minutes upon ordering.

Kani ramen was delicious. The soup was clear, no salty, and the noodle was bouncy. The soup was flavourful with best of seafood. 4 stars

The sashimi set with prawns, scallop, and ika was delicious. Ika was below our expectations, but scallop and prawns...

Just steps away from Hakodate station - located at the morning Market within "Donburi Yokocho" or "Ricebowl Alley." Can also be accessed from the exterior entrance. Open early, staff are great, food is served fast and arranged beautifully. Cannot stress how fresh the seafood was, amazingly delicious! Definitely reccomend to give this...

ホテルの朝食券（1650円）でいただきました。 そこまで割安を感じなかったのでチケットがついてないプランは自分で好きななを選んだほうがよいかも。 いくら亭（国産）だけにどんぶりは美味しかった！サーモンも新鮮でした。 大きいどんぶりだけにすればよかったと思っています。 塩ラーメンは優しいお味。まあ美味しいと普通の狭間、麺が想像より太く、あくまでも好みだと思いますがここでラーメンのリピはしないかと思います。
