Walking around the morning Market trying to find myself a breakfast to realise that many shop are not open on Wednesday but voila, here come this shop that is open. I went in to try a 1800 yen seafood bowl (urchin, scallop and crabs) because the shop seemed the most popular restaurant at the time I visited but I was extremely disappointed as the seafood was tasteless meaning they were not at all fresh. Even the rice was mediocre. I had palpitations 30 mins after eating which I always had after consuming stale food of proteins. A tourist rip-off....

Great option for kaisen don (raw seafood on rice) dishes in the Hakodate morning market donburi alley. Opening tines can be a bit random, and essentially they close when they run out of fresh seafood. Prices are reasonable and quality is excellent.
