We visited this place yesterday for lunch. We had pizzas, tea and a cola. The pizzas were some of the best pizzas we ever tasted in our lives. We were honestly so surprised. There was no English menu, but we were able to translate everything using translator app. We got extra glass of water for free. After the lunch we had some small talk with the owner, who wondered where we were from and why we visited Hakodate. Very nice gentleman. If you are in the neighbourhood you should try the pizzas here.

We went for lunch late & was the last table after another single diner. Ordered pizza n pasta which was delicious. Service is a little slow as it is a one man show. Please avoid this place. SIMPLY TERRIBLE.

There are table seats for about 12 people, but only one staff for everything, including cooking and serving. In addition the cooking part takes ages. And a bonus of a rude customer service (the owner simply doesn’t talk to you) makes THE WORST dinner experience we’ve ever had in Japan (and I’ve been living here for about 10 years).

Our experience was that after 1.5h wait our order was still haven’t been even started to be prepared. The chef was busy preparing the other table’s orders, even though some of those were made after ours.

So I’ve asked the chef how long it will take for us to have our meal, and he simply ignored. As a result we’ve left.

It’s simply too much items on the menu, too many seats for one chef to handle. He should change this to a wine bar. And also change...

Wonderful Italian restaurant in Hakodate. The food was excellent. My family and I ordered pasta, risotto, and pizza, as well as starters (mussels and caprese salad). Each dish was individually prepared to perfection. 👌

The owner happily accommodated my request for a vegan pizza. It was delicious.

Their menu is available in English and Japanese.

I highly recommend...
