Miruya is run by a wonderful lady who will help cater a meal to your preferences. The focus of the meals are on japanese vegetarian cuisine. I went with an Ovo-pesca vegetarian dinner set, that had ginger, carrots, konnyaku, okra (bean curd) salad, soup, Sanma, and brown rice for 2000yen. It was wonderful and was very filling
The atmosphere of the restaurant is extremely homely, and when you eat your food it resembles a home cooked meal. The service was also great, and some of the local customers also came by for dinner. The owner is happy to talk and try to include you in the tight knit community.
