Nice place for dinner after visiting the silver grass fields. The staff its very friendly buy does not speak any English and accepts only in cash payment. Good is pretty expensive. Seating is very comfortable. You will have pickled vegetables. Good soups and drinks. Main dishes are very good Restaurant is usually crowed during high season like October. Toilette is clean. I don't remember very well but I think they had an English menu

Ordered #3 that has "five" in the name and I got exactly one tiny piece of chicken, one shrimp, one shitake, one quail egg and one gingko 😒 tasted bland as well but the unagi and beef ones looked good so maybe you can try that instead. A hit-or-miss place I guess. Nice enough presentation-wise and staff are really polite and accommodating.

This place is known for kamameshi, which we ordered. It tasted very healthy and fresh with all the bright vegetables, although somewhat bland. Service was excellent and it’s a beautiful little restaurant. Just across the street from the grass field people like to take photos of.

It's not bad, but it's also not great. The food was tasty and healthy and was served fairly quickly. We certainly don't have anything specifically to complain about! This would be a good option if you are staying nearby and are not eating in your ryokan.

Ich bin sehr dankbar für das Erlebnis hier. Ich war nur wenige Tage in Hakone, aber doch kam ich jeden Abend hierher. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, die Bedienung ist sehr nett und auch die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm. In dem Restaurant haben hauptsächlich Leute aus der Gegend gegessen, was nochmal für die Beliebtheit und das leckere Essen spricht. Die Leute an für sich waren schon sehr nett und offen für Besuch aus dem Ausland. Ich wurde mit einem aufmerksamen Geschenk vom Haus verabschiedet, mir wurden außerdem alle traditionellen Weisen, wie man denn das Essen hier isst, erklärt. Mai, die Bedienung, war sehr sehr sehr nett! Danke für das Essen und für die Zeit
