Read moreA very cute little izakaya off the beaten track! We had the grilled tofu, cold somen, dried squid and yakitori. Oden comes as a free starter when you sit down. It's run by an elderly Japanese gentleman who is very generous with his pours for alcohol, and very nice!
Everything is done at a sedate pace, all the better to have a good catch up with friends over a couple of cold beers. We wanted to try everything but didn't have the stomach space. The atmosphere reminds me of Tokyo Midnight Diner, and I felt like we had discovered a hidden gem although there are a fair number of reviews.
