Tatsumi — Restaurant in Hakone

This was an amazing find in hakone. It was a 20 minute walk from where we were in Motohakone but 100% worth it. You can also stop in this area if you're planning on taking the ferry around the whole lake. My husband and the kimchi ramen and I had the pork broth ramen, both of which were incredibly delicious. Unexpectedly found this gem when visiting Hakone, was a chilly day last week so craving for some ramen. The tonkotsu / pork bone soup is THE BEST ive ever eaten and i tried quite a few in japan. This drove me to come back again today and it still delivers!

This neat little ramen shop is somewhat tucked away behind it's rather normal front which is a shame as food on the menu is very good.

The store offers a large amount of different stocks to base it's ramen on and the taste is far better then your average run-of-the-mill ramen joint.
