I’ve traveled to every prefecture in Japan. The food here is locally sourced and delicious. The service was great, the owner coming out personally to give us the sake we ordered and thanking us when we left. The servers were all very personable. It’s been very hard to get good food in Hakuba - most of it is just tourist traps that still fill up every night. This restaurant is a real gym.

A new place that just opened in 2024 ski season, so not many reviews but glad we tried it. A hidden gem and not many people yet, so no need to pre book. The food is fantastic and local premium beef quality is amazing (both steak and shabu). You can order drinks too and service is great for english speakers

Really tasty meal. Such a variety on the set meals and can add to it if needed. The salted river fish was cooked to perfection and fell off the bone easily. If only we had more time here to come back! Not much English spoken here but that doesn’t hinder the experience. Oishī! 美味しい どうもありがとう

Highly recommend this restaurant, we ate the set menu with the 2 kinds of beef, everything was local and so delicious.
