The food is alright. Definitely not worth waiting 2.5 hours.
We arrived 10 minutes before opening time only to be met with a huge line of people. We really wanted some sushi so we decided to try and wait it out.
We were able to get in after two and a half hours, and we were the lucky ones. Everyone behind us had the door shut on them. They have a sign that says no seating after 8pm. The least they could do was let the poor people that have been waiting in the cold know that they won't (or likely won't) be getting in.
They don't allow customers to wait inside the restaurant where it's warm. They take forever to clean the tables while they know customers are suffering outside.
They really seem to not care about the customer's experience. No communication to the line of people outside, no time estimates or anything of the sort. If I were the manager I'd at least offer the people waiting outside some hot tea.

There are two types of seating western style (regular tables and chairs) and Japanese style. The Jap style requires you to take off your shoes and sit on cushions cross legged.
Staff are very efficient at taking orders and bringing out your food promptly. Be warned that staff will not answer any questions which are not related to the menu. There was a group asking about bus stops and the waiter told them he didn’t care about their question...

Eventually we decided to place our order as the gentleman sitting at the cash register showed no interest . My partner order and then I ordered - rather aggressively with arms crossed over his chest said No Ohykkuri , repeated it a number of times each time getting louder !
