The Pub 英国調パブ — Restaurant in Hakuba

The Pub provides a lodge/chalet atmosphere. We had dinner in January, so, the setting was perfect with snow falling outside the windows and a fire outside the restaurant. We first had the cream corn soup and then we had bacon cheeseburgers with fries. The food tasted really good, pretty standard but flavorful. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant has many seats and a few long tables for groups. We walked from our hotel near the Happo Bus Station and it only took us about 15 minutes. There are buses that pick up/drop off at the hotel where the restaurant is located but they stop running around 5:30 or so. Maybe you could grab a ride one way if...

Bruh this place doesn’t know what it wants to be. Rap music, British food and pub look, staff wearing reggae beanies. Table service so not at all like a pub - very weird low energy vibe, no one standing at the bar, no sense of atmosphere. Staff constantly got orders wrong in ways that transcended a language barrier. Stop tryna sell me a snake shot?

We ordered all our meals at once and received all but one order of four, quickly checked with staff to confirm our order and they said it would be brought out in just a minute. Everyone finished their meals and we checked again with staff to follow up then they quickly brought out the wrong meal and we confirmed again and they said they would check with the kitchen to see if they could make the correct meal, they confirmed they couldn't and didn't offer anything but the cold incorrect order that was...
