Really excellent!! Went here on a whim after finishing the beach. Didn’t read up anything or see reviews before and was incredibly pleased how good everything was. Definitely not just some tourist trap at the beach. The food items are interesting, well thought out and perfectly executed.

We really really enjoyed the Mapu Nasu with peaches. They were in season and an amazing combo. Three different types of aubergine!

I’m sometimes on the fence regarding liver but my friend loves it so we got the liver steak and it was perfectly cooked (rare, no residual strong “livery” taste) and exquisite.

Highly recommend it, and looking forward to coming back here if I’m down...

Found this place strolling through Hayama and was surprised to see it full. We circled back after a walk on the beach to find a table free. We were welcomed in given a summary of the days specials. Food was great. Started with hummus with tortilla. The hummus was perfect. Next, we shared a premium curry and steak on rice. The curry was fantastic but the steak was a little fatty and chewy. Could forgive it though for the hot ginger lemonade and mint lemon squash were great. Really want to try some of the other dishes on the menu now. One of my favourite places to grab food in Hayama. Cosy, friendly atmosphere, outdoor seating and nice view. Great fresh produce and tasty food, good for sharing or also little plates for individual. Roasted garlic and salad are my favourite! Owner is so friendly and welcoming, I've been visiting...
