Sankakuyane — Restaurant in Hayama

Relaxing environment where you can get some work done (Wi-Fi and power outlets available on the big table), really nice outdoor area where you can chill with friends. Super comfortable rocking chairs facing the garden. Those are the best seats for couples! 🙂 Drinks were nice (I got some chai). We haven’t tried their food because what we wanted was already sold out (the quiche 🙁) and didn’t feel like eating sweets that day, but we might come back at an earlier time and maybe have lunch there! So I suggest you do the same if you want to make sure to find all menu options!

Great food, but not very keen on anti-COVID measures. I went when they opened up in the morning, and there was already a long line of about 10 people. By the time I left with my take out there were another 15-20 on line.

They had a large table that sits about 10 if you sit close together, but given the situation, I wouldn't recommend it. They also had 3 single seaters facing their back yard, and a space outside for about 6 to sit.

The waffles, and sandwiches were delicious, and I also enjoyed the ice cream sandwich, all of which I was able to take out.

If you are in the are, I would recommend this place for a breakfast or brunch, but if you want to stay safe, it would be better to take out.
