Hayama Kikusui-tei — Restaurant in Hayama

I only had takeout, and no one was inside when I went, so this review is limited on their takeout food, but it was delicious!

I ordered the Shirasu Pizza, a Soy based Peperoncino, and another pizza using chorizo and jalapenos. All of them were great! The soy based peperoncino wasn't spicy, but it was unique, and I would definitely go back for more.

Portion sizes are small, and a bit expensive for a rual area like this, given that it's usually an area full of tourists and vacationers, I would have to say it's reasonable.

I liked the fact that takeout was a bit cheaper.

Unfortunately, I didn't see that any spaces to park in front, but from the sign, I see that they have 3 parking spots a few seconds...

The draft beer was a highlight and the service attentive and quick. Other than that though, quite underwhelming. White wine tasted like a 500 yen supermarket bottle, garlic potato was starchy and bland, and the octopus and kinoko ajillo featured enoki which was overpowered by the octopus, garlic and olive oil.

This would all be ok at a decent price point but adding things up it feels like we were charged non-local prices... and...
