Sushi Shigekizuna — Restaurant in Himeji

I do not write review almost ever. But feel the need to write one here. Yes, food was great, and service top notch. But what stood out was what happened well before we arrived.

I booked the reservation for the restaurant and received an email asking if I wanted to order ahead as they do not have english speaking staff (though they did well to communicate at restaurant). So I told them sure and ask if for the kids, can I change some sashimi menus to cooked food as the kids do not eat sashimi. Their reply was to ask what the kids would like to eat and they could prepare it if we tell them ahead if time. So they ended up making us a tempura udon and kaarage don for the kids. That just blew my mind that they went out of their way to do this. Therefore, I am writing this review that I almost never do.

So if you are in town, please try this restaurant. But better book ahead as they seem...

Food : the sushi was amazing. The fish was really fresh.

Price : expensive ! Especially for drink price. Luckily, my boss paid for all . Thank you boss !

Environment : a bit dark

Service : staff need to learn English to communicate with...
