Like all the other reviewers say, the owner and staff of this restaurant are super welcoming, and the food is delicious and affordable. My husband and I had dinner here on our first night in Hiroshima. The staff then got up on stage and started jamming. We had so much fun that we came back the next night with our kids. The staff welcomed us back with open arms and made our kids feel special. There are various fish tanks around the restaurant which my son enjoyed. A few friends and I stopped by for a nice dinner on our only night in Hiroshima, and we were surprised with how wonderful the food and atmosphere is - the restaurant has all sorts of posters, notes, knick-knacks and album art all over the place. The people were so friendly there, and everything we got was fantastic! The Uma Yukke/Sashimi was well worth the price if you don't mind adventerous meat. The Octopus Tempura, the Beef Belly Char Siu (google translate might spell it as cha sha), the sirloin steak was all perfect. If I had the time, money & stomach space I think I would've tried...

Short on words for this heartwarming place, the people running it will treat you to the most hospitalitable experience! Sakae puts her skills into making delicious Japanese home cooking (kateiryouri) and even vegetarian options when asked for, with fresh and tasty ingredients. While enjoying a good meal, the ambience is heightened even further by the company and when the house band starts jamming.
