Archive Coffee — Restaurant in Hiroshima

This is probably my favorite coffee shop I have ever visited, and some of the best coffee I have ever had. It has a sleek, minimalist design that I love and the owner and his staff are so wonderful. You could feel the care that they have for their customers. When we went in with our sleeping toddler, they ensured that we had a table to sit at so we could park the stroller so as not to wake him up. They also remembered us the next day when we went back again, and to me that means something. I am not exaggerating when I say that the iced pour over we had from Archive last week was the BEST iced pour my husband and I have ever had. The staff were very helpful and pointed us towards the beans that were most recently roasted with the flavor profile we wanted, and the service was extremely kind. Took our guys group here for coffee-time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! It’s very convenient to the A-Bomb dome, and Keita (the owner) was super friendly & helpful (giving each of us some coffee recommendations based on our tastes, even in English too! 👍👍) The atmosphere is quite good too, with comfortable chairs, a nice river view, and a decent amount of space too (something of a rarity in most shops in Japan).
