La Sette — Restaurant in Hiroshima

This was the second time we visited La Sette for lunch and the good news is, it was just as good as the last time. You can choose from 3 different lunch courses, we chose the middle for 3300 JPY, which comes with a starter, choice of pasta and dessert. All dishes were well put together, and the quality of the ingredients is clear; also the portion size is perfect for lunch. They also serve some nice warm bread, two different types, this time was a rosemary one and a simple crusty one, both excellent. The starter was a bit like a salad with some roasted vegetables, ham and greens, I chose the porcini pasta with gorgonzola, the mushrooms were excellent but could have used a bit more gorgonzola to compliment the earthiness of the mushrooms. For dessert, Yomogi gelato (which translates to mugwart?) with some fruit, this was really excellent. 日曜日の11:30から予約して、友人と2人でランチを楽しみました。事前に皆さんのレビューを参考にさせて頂いては居ましたが、とにかく“おもてなし”の行き届いたお店でした。コースは3種類ありましたが、一番リーズナブルな物を頼んで、パスタはそれぞれ好きなものがメニューの中から選べます。私はパスタでは無く、初挑戦のニョッキを頼みましたが、それはもう美味しくて思わずレシピを伺いたくなる所でした。お料理はサーバー時に一品一品丁寧に説明をして下さいました。 奥の半個室では、“御両家顔合わせ”のような感じの方々がいらっしゃいました。スタッフの皆さんも大変、丁寧な接客をされていました。結婚式の二次会でも充分使用できるスペースもあり、なるほど、人気のお店となる筈だと納得致しました。是非、また伺います。 (Google...
