I have been to this ramen shop three times now, and my opinion has completely changed over time. The first time I visited, I thought it was a good, solid ramen, nothing more. But on my second and third visits, I realized how special this place really is.
After talking to the owner and following his recommendation, I added finely chopped chashu, a soft-boiled egg, and extra minced garlic to the ramen. That small change made a huge difference. The chopped chashu brought a deep, rich flavor that blended perfectly with the broth, and the garlic added a powerful, warm aroma that made the soup come alive. The combination completely changed the character of the ramen.
The broth is shoyu based, thick, rich, and full of depth, with just the right balance between fat and flavor. The noodles are thick and perfectly cooked, giving a wonderful texture that matches the richness of the soup. The pork slices are outstanding, tender and flavorful, almost melting in your mouth. The cabbage and bean sprouts bring a fresh contrast that makes the whole bowl feel complete and satisfying.
The egg is soft and delicate, with a creamy yolk that enriches the broth even more. Every element fits together beautifully.
At first, I thought this was just an everyday ramen shop, but now I know it is one of the best in Hiroshima. The owner is incredibly kind and clearly puts his heart into every bowl. The service is personal and warm, and the food is made with care and pride.
After three visits, I can say with confidence that this ramen is truly exceptional. Rich broth, perfect noodles, amazing chashu, and great people behind it. Definitely a five...
