We went to this restaurant during lunch time. Ordered meals set and parotta lunch set. Both these set had drinks(Oolong tea, plain lassi, hot tea) mentioned in the menu. While taking the order, we chose hot tea as the drink and the waiter outrightly said it won't be served without mentioning the reason. He demanded us to go for plain lassi instead and we told him that we are asthma patients and cannot go for anything cold. To this, he went and asked the the other chef in the kitchen whether he can provide us hot tea, the reply was he just can't prepare it and so it cannot be served. Upon serving us cold water, we again requested for hot water and the waiter served cold water without ice cubes. We were really disappointed by the service and waited patiently for the lunch. It was served 40 minutes after we placed the order. Even the salad mentioned in the set menu was served after we almost finished our lunch. While paying bills,we conveyed this to Robin San and his response was that drink couldn't be served may be because chef was busy . We asked how about hot water and he said waiter might have been busy. The food served was also not up to the mark, the coconut fish curry tasted like fish simmered in coconut milk without any authentic flavours and the parotta was also under cooked. Highly disappointed by the service and quality of food. We had previously ordered Parotta and curries as takeout from Robin san and it was too good. So we were very much excited to try this restaurant and went in hope of the same. Bad...

Read moreWhen one of my friends suggested a good place for a family with children to dine, I went to Robin's Indian Kitchen with my family for a try. Happy to tell you, I came back fully beamed with joy and the total satisfaction of having enjoyed a tasty food in the most hospitable and friendly ambience. Before fixing the menu, I went for sincere advice as to which items I should go for. Mr. Robin detailed minutely and professionally the type of dishes and the ingredients thereof. We went for mutton roast, chicken roast, beef fry, dosa, and porotta. Also ordered Rasagula as a dessert, which is my weakness.
I can say that all the items were found to be supremely tasty, hot, totally delicious. Servings were quite precise, swift, and so hospitable as if we are a close relation visiting after a long period.
As a person having been to many countries and dined at many restaurants, I can definitely say that this restaurant especially with the gentlemen Robin and the North Indian cuisine specialist Dadha is indeed one that stands out as one quite recommendable to food lovers.
As for me, I regard this restaurant as a place I can happily and confidently choose for good food and a lingering...
