We stumbled upon BetoLabo after arriving in Imabari after finishing the Shimanami Kaido ride. We got a veggie/egg Bahn Mi, a bbq pork Bahn Mi, a banana strawberry milk drink and a blueberry shake. The rolls the Bahn Mi came on was perfect. It hit the spot!! Definitely recommend if you’re staying in or rolling...

9月10日にオープンしたばかりのベトナムバインミーのお店。 テイクアウトとイートインスペースもあります。 店員さんはベトナムの方のようですが、流暢な日本語と愛想の良い店員さんでした。 注文したのはスペシャルバインミーとバクシューコーヒーというベトナムコーヒー。 チリソースの有無を聞かれたので有りを選択しました。 バインミーのパンは一見フランスパンのようで、上顎ヤラれるやつかと覚悟してパクリ。 サクッサクで歯切れの良いパン。 軽く焼いているせいか香ばしくほんのり温かい。 具材も甘辛い味付けにきゅうりやツナ、玉ねぎとたっぷり♪ チリソースもピリッと辛すぎず美味い。 。。。何か違和感が。。。 パクチーが入ってない! 入れ忘れなのか?オプションなのか? バインミーといえばパクチーでしょ?! 残念。 バクシューコーヒーはアジアンっぽく氷多めのミルクコーヒーでした。 普段はブラックしか飲まないのでガムシロは入れませんでしたが、本来は甘い飲み物なんでしょうね。 メニューに関しては注文時に良く聞いたほうが良さそうです。 因みにメニュー表の写真のドリンクについて質問したら、タピオカミルクティーだけどタピオカ乗ってないよ。 と笑顔で言われました。。。 店構えも道沿いでベトナム国旗がなびいて異国情緒あります。 店内もベトナム食材もあり雰囲気良かったですよ。 もう少し慣れてきた頃に再訪しようと思います。
