Food matched the price👍; service didn’t 😒

The meat here is good, and although not the cheapest, the quality matches the price. Unfortunately though, the staff were rude at the end, aggressive about getting us out from about 20 minutes before our 90-minute time slot was up (killed the enjoyment). We ordered a cooked dish half an hour before our time was up which came piping hot five mins before time was up 🤣 so naturally not enough time to eat it, and pressure mounted thereafter. We ended up leaving ON TIME, but left with a sour feeling. I felt a large dose of “foreigners not as welcome as locals” which was disappointing- so if that’s not really the ethos of the restaurant, the staff need training. Overall not the worst restaurant, but there are definitely better ones to spend your money at in Ishigaki, where the people are generally remarkably warm and hospitable. Not good. Went here for all you can eat, and got overcharged to the tune of 10,000¥ because staff made a mistake with the order, even though our speaker has N2 Japanese and talks like a pro. Then, because they wanted to close at 10pm (Covid, fair enough) the manager(?) takes raw, uncooked chicken out of my hands and dumbs it on top of all our cooked stuff, basically “Hurry up”. This, despite the fact at one point they took our grill to change it out for a clean one (good) after we asked, but they didn’t bring it back for almost ten minutes (bad) and we had to sit for 30 minutes at the start before any food appeared at all. I had dinner with my wife there on 30/08/2025. We would like to order some more food and beer but all two staff pretended to be unable to see me.
