The food was lovely but it was disappointing that we felt judged on entry and directed to sit at the high table (the only one of its kind) instead of the floor height tables all the locals were sat at. This encouraged them to look at us and us to feel alienated. We would have happily followed local custom removing our shoes and sitting on the normal tables but were not given the chance.
