tobi(トビ) — Restaurant in Izumo

While walking from Inasa no Hama to Izumo Taisha, we stumbled upon a hidden gem of a restaurant. With no sign or menu outside—only its name—it intrigued us, and we decided to give it a try.

The restaurant specializes in French cuisine, offering a single lunch course priced at just 3,500 yen. The course includes three appetizers (one of which is a soup), a main dish, dessert, and coffee or tea. Each dish was beautifully presented, featuring high-quality meat, fish, and vegetables. I was particularly impressed by the flavor and freshness of the vegetables.

The chef’s skill was evident in every bite, as each ingredient was prepared to highlight its natural essence, with the sauces expertly complementing the flavors.

記念日のランチで初めて利用させていただきました。フランチベースのコース料理専門店。予約制で、ランチは12:00と12:30のどちらかで予約を取れます。WEB予約なので、簡単に予約出来ました。

外観は至ってシンプルな作りでしたが、店内は昔ながらの建物の良さを生かしたオシャレ感もありつつ、落ち着ける雰囲気。

テーブルは4つあり、ある程度距離がとってあるので、それぞれのお客の空間を確保してあるように感じました。

対応していただいた女性スタッフの方も、好感の持てる丁寧な接客で、お店の印象もさらに良くなりました。

ランチメニューは、税込み3,800円コースと5,500コースの2種類がありました。

地元の有機野菜、無農薬野菜、果物、地物の魚介類、大山ルビー豚など出雲、山陰の豊富な食材を活かした料理で、味の満足度は非常に高かったです。出てくる全てが唸ってしまうほどの文句なしの絶品料理でした。アイスコーヒーを頼んだのですが、今までで一番と言っていいほどおいしかったのでビックリしました。ただ、2品食べ終わったのが12:00スタートで12:50…提供スピードに時間がかかった点が少し気になりました。

駐車場は店舗から20〜30メートルのところに5~6台ぐらいあり、車で行く方にも安心です。
