Daruma sushi was recommended to me by the taxi driver as this is where all the locals go. If you have the time and cab fare, go to Numazu but otherwise, locally this is where to go. Wow. We didn’t each much sushi in Japan, so stumbling across this place was epic luck. The quality was amazing and the couple running it were extremely hospitable.
