Good Mellows — Restaurant in Kamakura

Absolutely delicious food, wonderful ambiance, and absolutely lovely service from the people working there.

We visited all the way from Quebec, Canada, because whenever I'd look up places to eat in Kamakura, Good Mellows would always pop up and I'd be so excited after reading its reviews and looking at pictures of their food. The burger was very good, although the burger was a little on the smaller side. It took an hour to get our food and it wasn't even busy. No one else around us got food for at least 1/2 an hour...looked like maybe they were having problems in the kitchen because my fish came out first, then my husband's burger 20 minutes later and then slowly everyone else around us got their orders. Zero flexibility and staff attitude was terrible! We are vegetarian but almost every burger shops we go to have no problem to replace to extra avocado instead of patty at the same price. This restaurant, that even took an hour to bring us the burger without patty charged extra price for avocado. They even didn’t mention this when we ordered. When we complained, they said they don’t speak English.. and when we kept complaining they said get out and never come back. This was the worst experience I ever had in my dining...
