Ice Kitchen — Restaurant in Kamakura

My coworker and I stumbled upon this little gem, and we are so glad we did. We ordered green curry (came with salad and rice), fried chicken with soup (also came with salad and rice), a beer, whiskey highball, and passion fruit juice. The chicken was incredible. Crunchy outside, flavorful and juicy inside. The green curry was the best I've ever had. Bursting with flavor and full of chicken and vegetables. The passion fruit juice was so yummy. The food was good, but we waited for at least 40 minutes and there weren’t too many guests so we were surprised about that. Also I ordered a Vietnamese coffee to go and burnt my hand because their lids do NOT fit the cup and it simply fell off. In another universe this also would have ruined my outfit as it would drop everywhere. Good atmosphere, great attentive service and quality foods that are more worth than the price. We tried the Banh Mi sandwich and the Chicken Pho. Both were so delicious that I miss that tasty chicken stock soup now.

The Vietnamese iced coffee was soothing the summer heat. Many other options on the menu were tempting so I’ll definitely try some other choices from the menu like ‘Khaomangai’ next time.
