sirius — Restaurant in Kamakura

This was one of the best accidental finds on our trip to Japan. On our way to Kamakura we got off at Hase station as it's closer to Kotoku-in and we wanted to have lunch before visiting Kotoku-in. We came across this small restaurant and didn't know what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised. The chef also served us (as it was very quiet) and the food was absolutely amazing. It's a set menu for lunch and dinner and everything from the starter to desert was absolutely amazing. Definitely would recommend here over any of the more tourist-y restaurants dotted around Hase...

Excellent service from an attentive chef and sous chef. We sat at the counter and were able to see the magic happen. Food was on another level.
