Sushi train restaurant, we went at around 6pm, its upstairs , there was a line, saw other people went inside and came back out and waited. Apparently you have to go inside the restaurant and write your name and number of people on their waitlist, then wait outside of the restaurant to be called. Once your name is called, then we move to wait (seated) inside of the restaurant. The total wait wasn't too bad, around 15-20mins. We didn't take any plate off the sushi train conveyor belt but we ordered directly with the sushi chef. Did ask for an English menu which has the sushi pictures on it does help. I just have to be brave and get the busy chefs attention and order with my bad Japanese. It was a great experience to order, lucky they understood me. Read moreI guess I shouldn’t have been surprised by the quality of the food at this restaurant as it’s located above the busiest (and best) fish market in town. I tried a variety of sushi and sushi rolls including hon-maguro, kanpache, aji, hotate, and tako. Everything was excellent. The policy here is to prepare everything without wasabi so you have to add your own using the small packets on the counter.
Although there’s a conveyor belt going around the counter, we were able to order everything directly with the chef and have it made fresh.
