Couldn’t ask for more. Great location which situated near the train station for easy access and getaway. The surroundings are full of bars & restaurants if travellers wanted to experience the local cuisines, especially walk into the narrow lanes. The hotel makes good use of the space. Although each units might be tiny for westerners, we found the room operated well to suit their functions. Not to mention there is a check-in machine which can print out your access card!!
To sum up, we enjoyed our stay there. Very friendly staff, quiet environment, neat & tidy, great location. What more can you ask!!
Just a minor suggestion for the tourists. The main building of the hotel is located away from the local road (like a dog leg). So, you need to walk a short distance along the driveway and turn left. Bang! You will see the main hotel building. Although there is a signage (see photo attached which taken at night time), you may likely to miss it (maybe Dr Google couldn’t keep up to your speed). We were lucky to be approached by one of the hotel staff and kindly point out the location....
Read moreThis hotel is located just nearby the Ofuna train station. The hotel is decorated in a modern way, and check-in is done with a machine. The rooms are very small, even for Japanese standards, but overall it's comfortable.
In the room, you will find a big TV, a big bed (very comfortable), a fridge and a kettle. There's also an AC unit and an air purifier.
In the bathroom you will find a classic "small hotel" bath/shower and a washlet. Amenities are available at the front desk and you can also borrow some apparel there.
Breakfast (was included for me) is good, you will most likely find something that suits your tooth. There are some hot options (eggs, sausages, curry, rice), some salads, some danish, yoghurt and juices, coffee or tea.
The breakfast room becomes a TV watching room in the evening with a tea/coffee offer.
Overall, I recommend this hotel, the price/quality ratio is really good (my rate was around 50€ per night)
TIP: always put one of the magnets for room service (they did bypass my room yesterday) NB: there's no...
Read moreA great hotel right outside of Kamakura, one train stop away in Ofuna. The staff here are very nice, friendly, and helpful. They even provide handmade guidebooks for all visitors. The room we had was efficiently designed with room in the entranceway to open luggage. It had a hot water kettle and a small fridge, and a nice TV. The water at this hotel is run though a purifying system and really does taste good. The AC worked great. There's a small laundry room with a couple automatic washer dryers that take a couple hours to wash and dry a small load of laundry, and even dispense their own laundry detergent. This hotel also supplies shampoo, conditioner, soap, razors, other shower supplies, brushes, and even hair ties.
This hotel is right next to the train station and next to many great restaurants, conbinis, a big drug store, and a 24 hour grocery store. It's a great place to stay while...
