TRATTORIA CAVATAPPI — Restaurant in Kamakura

Rating: 4.5 A very small but cosy osteria with three tables, run by the owner alone. The Lunch with a choice of four different pastas, salad, antipasto, dolce and coffee. The price for this lunch is about 10.00 USD! (as of 2023 June) Reasonably priced, you can't go wrong with any of them.

My recommendation is dinner time. All dishes are prepared to be enjoyed with wine. You must ask for something with Genovese sauce or squid ink if available. It's a blast. Another must is the fritto. Shrimp, white meat fish, seasonal vegetables and mushrooms are crisply fried in olive oil. The smell of the dish when it comes out is unforgettable! The seafood also comes from Owase Bay and is all fresh and wonderful.

Order a bottle of wine. The owner will help you choose 3-4 bottles according to your budget and preference. The wines are mainly BIO, and although I have been coming here for years, I rarely get the same one.

2023年1月訪問。 土日のランチで何度かトライしたのですが、いつも予約で満席。 それもそのはず、テーブル席が３つのとても小さなお店でお一人で回されているよう。

ダメもとで月曜日にフラッと立ち寄ったら席が空いていて、入ることができました。

ランチはコースのみ、4種類のパスタから選べるようです。

■ランチコース1700円 尾鷹産本日の鮮魚カルパッチョ 本日のパスタ デザート、コーヒor紅茶

パスタは 地鶏ムネ肉とマッシュルーム、キャベツクリームソースのタリアテッレ をチョイス。

この日のカルパッチョはカジキマグロ。 金柑やトマト、葉物野菜、ハーブなどいろいろな味が楽しめます。

パスタは食べ応えのあるタリアテッレ。 たっぷりの具材にホワイトソースがコクをプラスしています。

デザートはイチゴに純生の組み合わせ。

私の他に先客がいたため、お料理が出るまで少し時間はかかりましたが、 そこまで気にはなりませんでした。

数名で予約して訪問しました。口コミは良いことを書いている人もいますが食事中女性のお客様が1人で入ってきてうちはお酒飲めない人はお断りですと高圧的な態度、それでもいいとお客さんが言うとお酒注文するのねと何度も確認しているようにワンオペなので作業しながら入り口に立つお客さんに声をかけているのを見てないなと思って見てました。見ていて聞いていて気分が悪くなりました。他の方の口コミで子供の頃マナーを教えてもらわなかったのかとお客さんに暴言を吐いているようですがこの方は子供の頃に人が嫌がることを言ったりやったりしてはいけないということを教えられていないのでしょうか。サービス、接客のノウハウを学んだことがないのに商売をしているのでしょうか？存続しているのが不思議で仕方ありません。料理は不味くはありませんが高評価をつけるほどでもない感じに思えました。隣の中華そばのお店に列ができているとその並んでるお客さんに高圧的に頭がおかしい発言をして注意しに行ったりもしているようです。こんな人が客商売して成り立ってるのが本...
