I have wanted to visit this place for a long time and finally did but im so disappointed. Since the shop is in a small street we decided to park 10 minutes away walk from the shop to avoid accident.I checked the website that they close at 5 pm we arrived around 4:10 and ordered"kaki gori" it was very hot more than 32 degrees. We found out that they closed the cafe it was passed 4:10 just the time we arrived and told us to eat outside where there are chairs. We were not happy and there were more than 5 -6 customers ahead of us and we waited we received our order 4:23 , the place we waited and sit was too hot maybe more than 35 degrees and i could see everyone were not happy and feel uncomfortable with the heat. There was no air and we felt sick of the heat so we decided to stand near the entrance where there is air. We ate the kaki gori standing with the tray and it melted so fast because of the heat. Anyway, we are angry but since we were there already we try to control our anger then we finished and asked for water, they told us to pay ¥100 for the water! We were wondering why they closed so early and let us sit inside because its too hot and its still not closing time. And in the end they charged us ¥100 for the water we can have free water because we ordered and eat inside their premises.I complained why they charged us for water they said water is free inside the cafe but they closed earlier than the closing time written on their website. One more thing, people are still eating and trying their best to finish fast because of the heat they started to clean up and closing the doors! What a rude and no consideration shop! I hope foreigners and tourists wont experienced what we had. I will never never go to this shop ever! I will never forget it when i see kaki gori in my life. The owner should make a consideration to their customers especially in a hot weather its very dangerous! Maybe we were lucky we ordered shaved ice it helped us refreshen( this day is dated july 27th) you can check the temperature this day.We left the shop exactly 4:40 i took a pic at the entrance you could see the door is already closed they started closing before 5pm in the pic one of the customer was going out, that door was widely open when we arrived. (To the owner)Better take good care of your customers they are the one who are making...
Read moreSaw a review of Kakigori of this place and suddenly got interested. A little bit shame that they only offers kakigori during summer. I ordered their other dessert instead and were totally satisfied. Although it seems a bit expensive but I would say they were both worth the price. We ordered a dish with fluffy whipped cream served with apple slices and some red bean and jelly below. The cream was just amazing, it goes well with jelly and red bean. The other dish was coffee jelly and panna cotta, which was also good but more like western style dessert than Japanese.
Updated: I revisited again to try their kakigori and wow! I’m impressed. I have always wanted to try their blueberry kakigori but this year it is lemon and lime. It is a must! I also ordered the red wine-chocolate kakigori and yes, it is...
Read moreThe cafe, situated at level 2 of the retail shop, serves Amanatto (also known as “Sweet Natto”) , along with other fusion desserts. Amanatto is a confectionery made by pickling beans and other ingredients with honey and sprinkling it with sugar. You can taste an assortment of Amanatto and try them before buying them at the retail store downstairs.
At the cafe , we ordered the kawamura plate and the hojicha tiramisu. The Amanatto in general are of perfect level of sweetness and feels like a healthy dessert if there is ever one.
Attentive and friendly service.
Wonderful atmosphere and comfortable seating where you can have a view of the street. There is also a bathroom for customers, making it a...
