Yoshiro and Yoshio Taniguchi Museum of Architecture — Attraction in Kanazawa

Kanazawa has a ton of great architecture, and this museum offers a peek into the architect who is in part responsible for the city’s investment in these inspiring buildings.

Upstairs there’s a “water garden” and reproduction of a meeting room and tearoom. Workers there were friendly but when taking our time soaking in the peaceful atmosphere the person working seemed to be urging us to move along even though there wasn’t anyone else in that part of the museum at the time.

I didn’t have this place in mind, but gave it a chance and now I can highly recommend it. It is quite small, but the design itself and the few contents it had were very worth.
