Kotomi — Restaurant in Kanazawa

Extremely, absolutely disappointed. My best friend from Singapore ordered the Yuzu cheesecake for my birthday. They called on the day of my birthday that it won’t arrive on the day it was supposed to be delivered but the next day and I was super okay with that. I waited the entire morning the next day and went to work later than usual, but I waited for nothing. They then later told me that they forgot to ship it. THEY FORGOT TO SHIP IT. 😂 They wanted to send it personally so I appreciated it. I ask them to come between 9AM to 10AM cause that’s when I usually get up cause I finish work so very late on Fridays, I eat late, I shower late, I sleep late. I was clear to mention the time and still, they came an hour earlier. I am deeply disappointed and I decided to write my disappointment and I don’t want anybody else to experience this. If you're not a local or Japanese they won't serve you. Don't spend your money here. They have a store in the first floor (from what I understand for tourists) but they won't let you in the cafe. We always want to support local businesses but in this case we didn't take anything. This is extremely racist.

This coffee & pastry shop on the 2nd floor of a small pastry shop has a very chic decor and beautiful space.

You can enjoy the view of Kanazawa Castle or the 21st Century Museum from the big windows. Very roomy and relaxing set up for a Japanese cafe in the middle of the top tourist area in Kanazawa. Not an expert but the audio system looked very impressive.

The matcha mousse parfait was really good. Price was very reasonable and the service was attentive. Would love to re-visit if I have a chance....
