Uchuken Syokudo — Restaurant in Kanazawa

I cannot recommend this restaurant due to the extremely poor treatment we received. After finishing our meal, we found that our umbrella, which we had placed in the rack by the door, was missing. When we asked the owner for help, he was completely indifferent and said they knew nothing and couldn’t do anything about it, despite the umbrella being clearly marked with a hotel label.

What made the situation worse was that it was pouring rain, and instead of offering any assistance or sympathy, the staff insisted we leave immediately and refused to let us stay inside while waiting for the rain to stop. Their attitude was shockingly rude and unwelcoming.

This level of unfriendly service and lack of basic kindness left us very disappointed. Having visited Japan twice, this was by far the worst experience we’ve had in over 10 days, and it completely...

La prima cosa è l'educazione, e un titolare che non si sforza neanche di farsi capire dai clienti potrebbe anche passare cone cosa se fosse calmo, ma così non è. Almeno per noi. Siamo arrivati qui perché vicino al nostro albergo e per le recensioni che aveva, ma mentre cercavamo di tradurre la cassa automatica (che è solo in lingua giapponese) in tempo reale con l'app di google, per fare l'ordine, ci ha strillato contro per farci spostare, dopo 2 minuti, affinché altri clienti locali la usassero. Alla fine abbiamo ordinato, e mentre ci serve, uno dei piatti ordinati ce lo da confezionato per l'asporto. Vabbè, abbiamo sbagliato, ma a sto punto che fai? Ti spieghi in inglese, e in giapponese col traduttore, lo scarti e lo metti nel piatto per mangiarlo li... bèh ci ho provato, perché ha ripreso a strillare, facendoci intuire che non dovevo mangiarlo li, ma solo fuori dal locale. Inutile ogni tentativo di dialogo, si rifiutava di ascoltare o leggere quanto tradotto con Google ( che per quanto possa esser poco preciso un senso generale lo fa intuire) Dopo vari tentativi di comunicazione, ce ne siamo andati. Fuori dal locale abbiamo trovato delle clienti, giapponesi, che erano uscite prima di noi, e ci hanno spiegato che vi era una differenza di prezzo tra il piatto da asporto e quello consumato sul posto. E che il titolare era stato maleducato. Cena rovinata! E il cibo,...
