I guess I came in expecting too much, but it was an overall poor experience.
Thereâs only a âcourseâ menu (itâs just to overcharge for a pizza or pasta) which would have been barely acceptable at Â¥2,000, but is Â¥3,000. You get a burnt pizza with skimpy toppings, includes simple side salad & a drink. The taste is just average for Neapolitan pizza.
We also got the caprese salad for ¥2,800 which includes a medium-small burrata, probably 1.5-2 tomatoes, and 4 leaves of basil, plus dressing. The taste is good, but still overpriced.
We got panna cotta for dessert. It was like someone was shoving toffee and caramel into your mouth forcibly. And for some reason the panna cotta was almost hard??? Iâve never had that before. Probably better they renamed the dish.
To top it off, one of the waitresses was incredibly rude, like she has a problem with foreigners who donât speak Japanese perfectly. I thought it was just me, but I overheard her conversations and watched her attitude with others and it seems she treats all the foreigners the same. Sheâs semi young as well so itâs surprising to see such racism.
My expectation was to be treated fairly and not be spoken to so rudely; to have food the quality matching the price, but it seems that too much for this restaurant.
