one of the oldest bakery in karuizawa, dating back to 1951. their closing time is 17:00, but when i visited around 13:00, most of the bread was already sold out. i asked if this was usual, and they explained that since the next day was a store holiday, they hadn't baked as much. i also inquired about their most popular bread, and they mentioned that it was what john lennon used to buy - their baguette and toast. i tried the cheese toast, and it was really good. definitely lived up to the hype!

I'm surprised at how much it costs for 1,620 yen❤️ It's really delicious🥰🥰🥰 I think it's just as delicious as the apple pie at Mampei Hotel😍 Delivery is also available. It makes a great souvenir or gift😆😆😆 It's standard to send French bread and apple pie as a set⁉️ French bread from French bakeries is famous, but this bread doesn't interfere with other side dishes at meals😊 It brings out the flavor of the side dishes😍😍😍 Other products include salted croissants, bacon epi, burrito dogs, bean paste french, and cinnamon apple pie. It's a real masterpiece❤️❤️❤️ I think they should raise the price even more. Anyway, it's the best bakery😍

We thought John Lennon’s croissants were not so good, but I really enjoyed the apple tart, and coffee. Locals are coming here, not just tourists, it’s a good sign. Next time plan to try the locally-named “Hemet Hill” chocolate melon pan, and bravo for a very nice blooming Christmas cactus plant on the side, a very nice little patisserie and cafe.

I love breads. So it’s a must try for me when people review the Curry Bun on this street 😆 The crust is still crispy, curry filling taste great! Only downside is the curry filling is a bit too cold due to the weather. If not it will be perfect!

Nice place to have pastry and coffee You can sit inside or outside depending on seats available ( find your seat before order) Most pastries have pork ( it was not convenient for us as Muslims)

旧軽井沢銀座にある創業1951年のパン屋さん。 連休の午後に訪れると中々に賑わっていました。 行った時にちょうどチーズブレッド、チョコブレッドのハーフが品切れていたんですが、定員さんに聞くとすぐに用意してくれました。とてもありがたかったです。 パンの種類がとてもたくさんある。お店の方のおすすめ等の標識もあり選ぶのが楽しい。 イートインコーナーもあり買ったパンを頂けました。 ◆チーズブレッド(¥240) パンのふわふわと自然な甘さとチーズの塩気が最高でした！ その他のパンもテイクアウトしましたが、お惣菜系もおいしかったし、チョコのはいった1口サイズのボール型のパンはチョコが甘すぎず好みでした。 ◇推し活動 うたの☆プリンスさまっ♪ マジLOVEスターリッシュツアーズ～旅の始まり～ の映画でST☆RISHが訪れたベーカリーのモデルとなったお店。 麻のショップバックの文字がST☆RISHメンバーのカラーがあると聞いて。Mサイズピンク(￥1,200)買わせて頂きました！ 店員のお兄さん、うたプリ知っていて気さくにお話してくれました。ありがとうございました！また軽井沢に来たら買いに行きます。
