Restaurant Kamahei — Restaurant in Kashiwa

This spot that offers Japanese-style Western dishes at very affordable prices. We arrived before the lunch rush hour, so it was rather quiet.

At each table, they had a silver bell, like the one found at a front desk at an older hotel. When you are ready to order, or need something, just ring the bell and a staff will be right over.

For food, I had Daily Lunch Set, which came with Beef Hamburg Steak, Shrimp Tempura, and Sautéed Chicken Thigh. The set also comes with Salad, Rice, Pickles, and Miso Soup. It was quite tasty, and super cheap (less than $10 if you convert to USD).

Others had Hamburg Steak and Fried Oyster, Mini Oyako Donburi, and Ginger Pork. The fried oysters were so good! Not fishy at all, lightly fried. Oyako donburi had a good amount of large, plump pieces of chicken. Ginger Pork was tasty, but not so much “ginger” anywhere to be found… Each dish was tasty, and the portion was pretty good too.

For desserts, we had Chocolate Parfait and Special Deluxe Pudding. This is not a gourmet parfait, but still was a really good, especially for the price. Pudding was a typical Japanese custard pudding, but a pretty big size!

I liked this place so much, I went back one more time. I had Omurice. It was huge, under the egg was mostly ketchup rice, nothing fancy… The ketchup flavor was quite strong… But I still enjoyed it.

The staffs were very polite and efficient. Food is made to order, so it takes a little time for the food to come out. Very affordable, and on that note, they are CASH ONLY, so don’t forget to...

平日ランチに訪店、今回は幸運にも駐車場も空きあり、並びなく入店。 前回は、満車並びありで諦めましたので、ラッキー！ ”おすすめメニュー”の囲みから、日替わり（３種の盛り合わせ）を注文。 「当店は手作りメニューの為、少々お時間を…」とあったが、それほどなく提供された。 ハンバーグ、アジフライ、チキンソテーの盛合せでしたが、どれも出来立てを食べたくなるものばかり。 交互に箸を進めました。どれも美味しい。これでランチ税込み880円。だから、混むんですね。 メニューも豊富で、毎日来ても飽きないのでは？と思うほど。 ガッツリ食べたい方には、もう一品ってのもありかなと。私はこれで十分な量です。 落ち着いた店構えです。お子さん連れのご家族もいて、客層はかなり広いでしょう。席数:カウンター4席、テーブル36席、駐車場:8台です。 トイレには、若柴交差点がT字路という年代物の写真もあり。 接客も良く、美味しい、しかもお値段お手頃（いや、安いか）なので★5です。 ごちそうさま、ぜひランチのみならず夜の部でも再訪したいお店です。 2023.5追記 ランチに再訪 待ち客1組　カウンターにて、ハンバーグとカキフライにライス。ランチタイムでは、みそ汁付きとなる。この日は、バックオーダーがかなりあったのか、待ちましたが、待った甲斐ありの柔らかハンバーグ。肉汁も出てきて、カマヘイクオリティ。カキフライはタルタル添え。お醤油をもらいました。これで税込み1,265円。 2023.6追記 妻と(妻は初訪店)ランチ 妻はBランチ...
