Had the pleasure of being hosted by our Japanese friends here. The restaurant is cosy with an understated elegant interior. It is run by a Japanese couple who spent many years in Italy; with wife being front of house and husband chef. We had a long lunch with multiple courses which were all sublime. They were the perfect balance of fresh Japanese natural flavours while being authentically Italian. The price point is perfect, the experience is great, and I personally recommend the 5-type wine pairing. The chef knows exactly what they are doing and every single bite is delectable. A concern I often have is if the menu has been Japanized to suit the local palate and I can say with certainty that is not the case.
