Owner has a chip on his shoulder. Hates westerners, but makes a living off western food. Bizarre career choice, seems like a hypocrite.

He is outwardly hostile if you don’t speak Japanese. When we ordered using a translating app he repeated the order back to us in English. Seems perfectly able to translate and understand the English/italian names of the nine pizzas, but simply refuses to.

I work with people with severe mental illness - but this man is the rudest person I’ve ever come across in my life.

Nice, normal Japanese in the restaurant felt embarrassed for us and would look up as empathically trying to offer looks of support.

He seems like an arrogant person that puts hatred and beliefs before the comfort of his customers...

Tourists Beware – Poor Treatment for Non-Japanese Speakers I do not recommend dining at this establishment if you are a tourist who doesn’t speak Japanese. After five years of traveling to Japan and experiencing nothing but kindness, I unfortunately encountered my first rude experience here.

The cook was incredibly disrespectful. He refused to let us share a pizza and began speaking to us in a very aggressive tone in Japanese—despite clearly knowing we didn’t understand. His demeanor made us feel extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable, to the point where we felt we had no choice but to leave.

My wife and I are always quiet and respectful when we travel, and we expect the same in return. Sadly, that wasn’t...

Instead saying even welcome, the first thing he asked was if I spoke Japanese, pointing to me with his eyes to the menu on the board with contempt, not even trying to help when I said I did not

Then he coughed 2-3 times in the 5mins I was in the restaurant, while not wearing a mask. He covered his mouth with his hand, the same hands he then prepares the pizzas you eat
